Our residency at Tavistock Square on Portobello Road is the perfect spot for artists and art lovers to buy, sell, and connect.
The Open Art Market is all about bringing the community together through creativity, with a focus on keeping things accessible. No experience? No problem—our friendly team is here to help you get started.
To keep things fair, our markets are application-only. We have limited stalls and lots of interest, so while we can’t promise everyone a spot, we do host Markets often, and we’d love for you to apply again.
On Market Days, you’ll find up to 26 stalls, beginner-friendly creative workshops, and pop-up live music.

We're on Portobello Road's Tavistock Square on the first and third Saturday of every month, 10am - 5pm.
Open Art Markets are filled with new and emerging Artists from a diverse range of creative backgrounds. We give equal opportunity to all our applicants and keep a regular rotation to ensure there's space for everyone.
How much is it?
It's free to apply to the Open Art Market. If successful, our stall fee is £80 including a covered stall, 1.5m x 1m in size.
Artists can hang work from bars or use string to create a back support to display their pieces and feel free to really create their own space with their own personality.
What do i get?

Full infrastructure (a classic covered stripy market stall) ready for you to stage and decorate.

Hosted art classes for all ages and abilities - invite friends or join in yourself!

What do you need from me?

You must apply using our online application form. You can hear about upcoming open application rounds by signing up to our newsletter or instagram.

We're happy for you to share your stall with another artist. Please let us know all artists' details within your application.

We ask that you sell work at a range of price points. Accessibility and affordability for artists and art-lovers is important to us. We recommend most items are priced under £100.
